The history of Barbeque is as old as the concept of the cowboys. While tending to their herds these boys would have to travel far and near. The only source of food that they would have would be large chunks of meat. As they tried to cook it in different ways, they suddenly stumbled upon this unique method. The chunks of meat are roasted in an oven or grill on a slow flame. The meat is flipped over often to ensure that both the sides are cooked evenly.
They may apply some marinade or basting sauce to give the chunk a juicier and tastier feel. Mostly this is an outdoor dish and so it is prepared in backyards or at picnic spots. Where barbeque is being prepared the get together will normally be for a group of people and is done in an atmosphere where fun is in the air.
