All About Sonnys Barbecue
In 1968, a man named Floyd (aka Sonny) Tillman and his wife founded Sonnys Barbecue. Little did they know how popular their enterprise would become! The Tillmans wanted to bring real, authentic smokehouse barbecue to the masses, and that's exactly what they did. By 1977, Sonnys was so popular that the Tillmans decided to sell franchises. By doing this, people all over the country got to experience the sliced pork, beef, and ribs that made this restaurant such a hit. The Tillmans provided delicious food and excellent customer service, and by doing so, created a veritable barbecue institution with the Sonnys Barbecue Chain.
In 1991, Sonny retired and sold his barbecue company to Bob and Jeff Yarmuth. With the original goals of Sonnys in mind, the Yarmuths brought the restaurant into a new era. These days, Sonnys Barbecue is the largest chain of barbecue restaurants in the nation, offering over 150 locations all over the United States. Alabama, Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Louisiana and Tennessee are just some of the places you'll find a Sonnys Barbecue franchise.
Probably the most popular item on the Sonnys Barbecue menu are the pork ribs. The sauce is sweet and tangy, and the ribs are cooked for hours using the traditional smoking technique. But ribs aren't the only great thing offered by this restaurant. You can also enjoy amazing steak, hamburger, chicken, turkey, catfish, and a variety of delicious sides. There are onion rings, fried okra, macaroni and cheese, coleslaw, and so much more. Wash everything down with amazing sweet tea, soda or even beer at one of Sonnys great restaurants. You can even purchase a Sonnys sweatshirt, gift card, or gourmet barbecue sauce. The great sauces sold by Sonnys are the closest way to get the great taste of their barbecue at your home!
If you're looking for a great way to earn a living, why not purchase a Sonnys Barbecue franchise? Not just a flash in the pan, Sonnys Barbecue has offered franchises to eager businessmen and women for more than 25 years and still going strong. With your purchase of a Sonnys Barbecue franchise, you'll get a business that's proven to be successful and excellent support to guide you every step of the way!
